About Us
Mancelona Bass Festival, Inc. was started in November of 2007. This group came together in an effort to continue the 52 year tradition of a festival in Mancelona. Thanks to the former Mancelona Bass Festival Association for their past efforts, high standards, and support in continuing the Bass Festival. Also, a special thanks to our neighbors from the National Trout Festival for their help and guidance.
The Bass Festival is really an extension of our community. The Village of Mancelona, the Mancelona Rotary, Mancelona Public Schools, and other community groups are all key partners in the festival. Our executive committee has a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, a treasurer, a secretary, and community at-large members. The executive committee is a seven member board which makes all decisions regarding fesitval events and activities. Members are appointed to the Executive Committee.
